Upon arrival to the church, guests are greeted by friendly volunteers who are there to welcome people and make sure they know where to go. The service starts at 10 a.m. with three worship songs. The three songs are performed by the talented band which loves to serve the church. After the three songs are played, the church then prays briefly before moving into the preaching segment. Typically, the Pastor spends about 60 to 90 minutes preaching from the Bible.

Once the preaching is complete, the church prepares for the offering, which is a non-obligatory offering. The last segment of the service is the announcements. After the announcements are given the church is then dismissed.

Once dismissed, everyone’s invited to fellowship in the lobby where free coffee and donuts are available for the whole church to enjoy. This is an opportunity for guests to connect with other members and leaders of the church. Also, parents have the opportunity to pick up their children from the kids wing during this time.

Speaking of kids, parents do not need to be concerned about their children at Barabbas Road Church. Every Sunday, 40 well trained volunteers serve in the kid’s wing of the church. These volunteers have all the proper background checks and have been properly trained to make sure the kids are in a fun and safe environment. Not only are the volunteers trained to keep the kids safe, they also have been trained and equipped to teach the kids about the Bible.

As the kids are having a good time playing games and learning about Jesus, the parents can enjoy the entire service knowing their kids are safe. If there are ever any issues with a child, the volunteers are able to page the parents in the service to alert them of any issues.
