October Update

Dear Friends and Family,

We hope you are enjoying the fall season.  It has gotten a bit colder as you would expect here.  We are adjusting so far which is a good thing.  We are so thankful for the wonderful people we are meeting here and the great opportunities we have had to get to know them.

We are continuing to teach in Ephesians during the Sunday school time.  We go through questions in order to look at context, theme and what text shows about God for instance.   During Sunday service, we are going chronologically through the old testament pointing to Christ.  There is also a mid week bible study where we have prayer time and are going through biblical ways to deal with problems such as anger, depression etc.   We continue to visit folks and invite people over.  This is not like the Dumagat culture where people are around all the time.  Here you have to get out there to getting to know people.  Pray for us especially as the weather gets colder.

We covet your prayers as we continue to get to know people and build relationships here in Sierra County.  We continue to be involved volunteering for the fire department and that is a great time to get to know people and be active in the community.  Please pray for the situations that we face that God is honored.

Please also continue to pray for the Dumagat church as they are not far from our hearts.  We had a call in the last few weeks that there is a cult in the area.  Pray for the men in charge in the Dumagat church to do the right thing and that the cult would leave the area.

This is a support based position and we are considered missionary pastors so we thank you for giving to our ministry.  Please email us any questions.

In Christ,

David and Adriana
