Barabbas University offers college level learning through the local church. The classes below offer additional teaching on top of Sunday’s sermon. There is no fee for any of the classes, nor do you need to attend them all. All classes meet at the Barabbas Road Ministry Center.
Systematic Theology Class
In Systematic Theology Class will learn all of the major doctrines of the Bible and how they relate with one another. This class spends one week to four weeks on each of the major systematics and is an excellent primer for Theological Issues Class. This class will also look at other world views and issues regarding Christian Living.
Theological Issues Class
Theological Issues Class expounds at great length some of the doctrines learned in the Systematic Theology Class. Where Systematic Theology will study a given doctrine for one week to four weeks, Theological Issues will study a doctrine for months at a time. It is held on Tuesday nights and is taught by Head Pastor, Matt Smith.

The purpose of this class is to learn how to defend Christianity against every world view in our culture. This is an invaluable time and we highly recommend attending at least one class to see if it is something that you would interest you.
This class is taught by Pastor Rob Denton and gives an overview of church history. This class will be taught chronologically starting with the inception of the church in Acts 2 and ending with the church in our modern day.
The purpose of this class is to learn the crucial issues that are affecting the modern day church and how we as believers are to respond to them.
This class meets the first Saturday of every month with the purpose of learning the role of men in the church. Whether you are single or married, this class will help show you what God has created men for. Members of Barabbas Road and Non-Members are encouraged to go.
