Benevolence Policy
We welcome all people from all walks of life to the community of Barabbas Road Church. We encourage you, if you are in need of any resources or items, to please visit us on Sunday morning and fill out our Benevolence Form which can be found on the main table when you walk into church. If you can’t find it please ask one of the greeters and they will gladly assist you. After you fill out the form please hand it to one of the greeters or any of the other folks that are helping out around the church. They will make sure to get it into the right hands as well as talk with you about the needs you have and how we can assist you.
Scripture is clear that one who does not work should not eat, Colossians 3:10 tells us this. Therefore we, as a church, do not make a habit of helping with any financial needs that you may have unless you are actively seeking to find help for whatever situation you are in whether financial or otherwise. If you are unable to attend Sunday morning please make sure that you have contacted the below resources before contacting Barabbas Road Church. They are all local places in San Diego that are extremely well equipped at helping people find jobs, housing, food and medical care:
